The Fuchs Overdrive Supreme is a boutique take on the legendary Dumble-style platform, offering everything from big, lively cleans to smooth, saturated overdrive. This 50-watt version features an extensive set of tone-shaping controls, including Deep and Bright switches, Rock/Jazz voicing, a mid boost, and separate controls for the overdrive section. The result is an exceptionally versatile amp that works equally well with single coils or humbuckers, with plenty of touch sensitivity, tight lows, and the classic midrange squawk these designs are known for.
Other features include lush onboard reverb, a buffered effects loop with send and return controls, and footswitchable overdrive and reverb. Custom Heyboer transformers are another nice touch, along with a combination of hand-wired and PCB construction. Of course, the snakeskin covering gives the amp a look that's every bit as distinctive as the sound!
