While visiting from Kansas City, we had to stop and so thankful we did! The atmosphere of this shop is truly unlike any other. Not only is the guitar selection spectacular but the staff is beyond welcoming and friendly. We spoke with Kyle multiple times as we came in twice during our trip to Nashville. He, along with everyone we interacted with, were so kind and helpful. We can’t wait to visit again!

If you are looking for a shop that actually cares about its customers and its craft, look no further. I recently bought a guitar from Carter Vintage Guitars in Nashville, and the entire experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. A massive shoutout to Kim, who was an absolute rockstar. Even in a legendary shop filled with so much incredible gear, Kim made the entire process feel truly catered to me. What blew me away the most was how incredibly patient she was with us having our 6 year old daughter along. She made the whole family feel so welcome, which took away any stress and let us really enjoy the moment. Even my daughter wanted me to make sure to say, "We love Kim, she was so nice!" I was so appreciative of the time and genuine care she took to help us navigate the options. With her help, I ended up with an incredible Iris guitar, hand-painted and beautifully crafted in Burlington Vermont. What really set this experience apart(especially for a high-profile shop in Music City) was the complete lack of pressure. Kim didn't try to upsell me on a single thing. She listened to exactly what I was looking for and only sold me what I actually wanted and needed. To top it all off, Kim gave us a local Nashville food recommendation that was out of this world! It’s rare to find a shop that delivers both elite expertise and such warm, down to earth hospitality. I couldn't be happier with this stunning guitar. If you go to Carter's, I highly, highly recommend asking for Kim!

I worked with Cabe and Zach and had an amazing experience. We were in from out of town and had found the shop online beforehand so we thought we would check it out, with no intention of buying anything. I ended up leaving with my dream guitar. We’ll definitely tell our musician friends to check this place out when they’re in town, all in all it was 10/10.

One month before a trip to Nashville to see my daughter, I emailed CVG about a trade-in... would they give a preliminary trade-in value for my Ultra Strat? YES!!! They were the only store that would offer me an "approx" price to help me decide whether to drive the guitar down or not. I appreciated that! Getting there on a Monday helped as the store wasn't as busy. Now... My first time at CVG... WOW. Unbelievable selection of acoustic and electric guitars. Truly candyland!!! Haha I found a nice Telecaster, played it for a while then figured in trade-in credit and I was gone!!! Thanks for a great first visit. I'll be back.
